Terms of Services
USConnect, LLC
Loyalty and Rewards Program
End User Terms of Service
Effective: September 10, 2025
USCONNECT, LLCi AND ITS LEGAL AFFILIATES (“USCONNECT”) HAVE DEVELOPED AND MAINTAIN A NETWORK THAT PROVIDES SERVICES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “OPERATOR SERVICES”) TO BUSINESSES (“OPERATORS”) ENGAGED IN THE PROVISION OF FOOD, BEVERAGE AND OTHER PRODUCTS TO CONSUMERS IN NORTH AMERICA.
BECAUSE OF YOUR PURCHASE OF FOOD, BEVERAGE AND OTHER PRODUCTS FROM OPERATORS THAT RECEIVE OPERATOR SERVICES, YOU MAY USE CONSUMER LOYALTY AND REWARDS SERVICES (THE “PROGRAM SERVICES”) WHICH USCONNECT MAKES AVAILABLE TO OPERATORS AND THEIR CUSTOMERS. THE FOLLOWING LEGAL AGREEMENT GOVERNS YOUR USE OF PROGRAM SERVICES. BY USING PROGRAM SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE END USER TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, DO NOT USE THE PROGRAM SERVICES.
Terms of Service Overview
This Terms of Service agreement (this “Agreement”) is a contract between USConnect and you, a Program Services user (the “User”). USConnect provides Program Services under multiple program names, including but not limited to USConnectMe® (www.usconnectme.com), My Vending Rewards® (www.myvendingrewards.com), and My Market Rewards®(www.mymarketrewards.com) ii. USConnect also provides Program Services for one or more Operators under the trade names, marks and logos of such Operators. This Agreement covers the Program Services provided by USConnect under the program names owned by USConnect and under the program names of independent Operators as of the Effective Date of this Agreement, as well as under program names which may be adopted by USConnect or such Operators following the Effective Date.
To access Program Services under any such program name, you must first establish a prepaid account (“Account”) with USConnect, either through a physical plastic payment card (“Card”) or through a mobile application (“App”) referencing such program. Examples of Apps which offer access to Program Services include, but are not limited to, the USConnectMe App and the My Market Rewards App. A Card or an App can be loaded with funds by the User and used to make purchases of food, beverages and other products from Operators. Through the Card or the App, a User can also receive promotional awards and loyalty benefits. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of the Card and App and your use of and participation in the Program Services (the “Program”).
Users may generally use a Card or App issued under one Program name to make purchases of food, beverages and other products from Operators providing Program Services under another Program name. Users may not use their Card or App, however, to make purchases in any other programs not offered by and not a part of this Program provided by USConnect or its affiliates. If you have a question about whether your Card or App will work in any particular program (whether or not hosted by USConnect or one of its affiliates), contact USConnect customer service using the telephone number posted in the food service location or set forth below.
Program Overview
The Program offers a prepaid account for payments and loyalty awards that are accessible either through a Card or through an App that has been installed on a phone using a compatibleiii version of AndroidTM iv or iOSTM v. The Card or App can be used subject to the terms of this Agreement at locations of Operators participating in the Program.
Features of the Program, which are subject to change over time and are subject to availability from USConnect and the Operators, include the following:
- Prepaid account which can be used to purchase food, beverage and other products at Operator locations on devices which feature a cashless payment systemvi.
- Ability to load funds to a prepaid account, either on demand or automatically at recurring times or based on the account balance being reduced below a stated level previously set by the User.
- Special offers and promotions on food, beverage and other products in participating vending machines and Bistro to Go!TM vii markets.
- Loyalty reward points, which are awarded with every purchase.
- Contribution to a charity selected by the User from a list of charities designated by USConnect and updated by USConnect from time to time.
- Ability to track reward points balance and usage and available reward offers online and through the App.
- Redemption of loyalty points and access to instant promotions.
Terms and Conditions
1. Nature of Account.
Funds associated with the Program are held for the benefit of the User based on how the User accesses the Program. Funds maintained on a Card are held by the Operator originally supplying the Card (or its permitted successor) or by USConnect should it supply the Card directly to the User or should the Operator originally supplying the Card cease to be an Operator who receives Operator Services. Funds maintained on an App under the program names owned by USConnect are held by USConnect, and Funds maintained on an App under a program name of an independent Operator are held by that Operator.
Funds maintained by a User in an Account are exclusively for the usage purposes described in this Agreement and shall be applied to charges for food, beverage and other products incurred by the User at locations of Operators receiving Operator Services.
User Accounts are not credit card accounts. The use of an Account should not result in a balance below zero, but in the unlikely event an Account has a negative balance due to processing issues or unforeseen circumstances that are not the result of a clear error of USConnect or an Operator, the party holding the funds may charge the funding source established for the Account or deduct the negative account balance from funds subsequently added to the Account. In any event, the User is responsible for the restitution of all such amounts owed on an Account.
Accounts cannot be used to make purchases outside of the USConnect network of Operators receiving Operator Services, such as at merchants participating in the Visa or MasterCard card networks or regional debit card networks such as Pulse or Star. An Account may not be used to obtain cash or cash advances from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) or cash advance location such as a bank or hotel under any circumstances. Treat the Account, and use the Card or the App, like cash.
2. Establishing an Account.
To be eligible to establish an Account, you must have reached the age of majority where you live and be of legal age to enter this Agreement. If you are under 18, you may be required to obtain authorization from a parent or legal guardian to use the Program and have an Account.
An Account can be established by (a) obtaining a Card from USConnect, (b) obtaining a Card from an Operator directly or through the food services coordinator at a business using an Operator receiving Operator Services, or (c) registering for an Account by using the sign up process at a Program website or on an App and following the instructions set forth for the establishment of an Account.
3. Registering an Account.
Accounts should be registered to use all the features of the Program. Accounts can be registered using either of these methods:
- Online at a Program website using the Register function, if you have a Card,
or
- On an App using the Signup function.
A Card will provide the card number (generally 16 digits) and OAN number (generally 14 digits) required to register and establish an Account. Provide all the required information requested during the signup process to establish an Account. An email and password are required to register the Account. Select a secure password as requested during the signup process. If you have a Card and establish an Account online, do not write the password on the Card. Store the password in a secure manner to protect the Account from unauthorized access.
Note: Cards obtained from an Operator and funded using an Operator kiosk are not automatically registered Accounts. Any such Account will not have access to additional features including the ability to receive a refund and obtain Account balances and statements until the corresponding Card is registered.
4. Loading Funds.
Accounts cannot be used until funds are loaded and available for use on the Account. Funds can be loaded onto an Account by a User using a credit card, debit card or bank account, or redeeming a valid promotional code in one of several methods, including:
- Online at a Program website,
- On an App, and
- At Operator locations with self-service kiosks
Certain Operator locations may also offer self-service kiosks that accept cash with the ability to deposit cash onto an Account through the kiosk.
Transfers of funds made to an Account using a credit card, debit card or bank account will not be considered received and usable until they are actually received by USConnect or an Operator and credited to your Account’s cash balance. Bank account funding is subject to the processing time frames of the banking system and may have longer funds availability delay.
Users may determine and set automatic loading of funds at recurring times or based on the account balance being reduced below a stated level previously set by the User. The automated funding feature supports credit card, debit card and bank account payment methods. Use of the automatic funding feature does not prevent on-demand funding. This feature can be turned off by the User, otherwise the feature will be available until the Account is closed.
Funds may also be loaded onto an Account by USConnect or by an Operator. No such funds have a cash value outside of the Program, and Users will not receive a cash refund for such funds that are not used. These funds cannot be transferred to other Accounts or Users.
5. Account Activation.
Accounts are activated immediately after the first transaction is made using the Card or App linked to the Account. Additional functionality such as automatic funding, statements and other functions are available after the Account is registered.
6. Minimum Balance.
After the Account is opened, there is no minimum balance required. Accounts that have the automatic funding option enabled will have additional funds added to the Account when the Account reaches the reload balance amount established when the feature is setup.
You need to have a positive account balance in order to purchase goods using the Account.
7. Maximum Balance.
Account balances are limited to $200. The maximum permitted balance may be adjusted from time to time by USConnect in its discretion. Changes in the maximum permitted balance can be found by reviewing the latest version of the Terms and Services online at a Program website and clicking the Terms of Service hyperlink at the bottom of the main landing page for the website. The Terms of Service can also be viewed through the App. In no event will the maximum liability of USConnect or an Operator to a User ever exceed the maximum permitted balance.
8. Account Balances.
An Account balance on a Card represents an unsecured claim against the Operator originally supplying that Card (or its permitted successor) or against USConnect if USConnect supplied the Card directly to the User or if the Operator originally supplying that Card (or its permitted successor) ceases to be an Operator receiving Operator Services. An Account balance on an App represents an unsecured claim against USConnect (in the case of an Account established under one of the Program names of USConnect) or against an independent Operator (in the case of an Account established under a Program name of that Operator). Account balances are held in the respective account(s) of USConnect or an Operator (as applicable), and the holder may combine one User’s Account balance with the Account balances of other Users. An Account is not a banking or savings account and does not provide any financial services outside the intended usage within the Program.
9. Loyalty Rewards.
The Program offers reward promotions for ongoing use of an Account to make purchases of food, beverages and other products from Operators. These Account usage-based rewards provide points for every dollar spent at Operators receiving Operator Services in the Program. Available reward points can be viewed in the App and applied against purchases during the checkout process.
Reward points do not have a cash value outside of the Program, and Users will not receive a cash refund for reward points that are not redeemed. Reward points cannot be transferred to other Accounts or Users.
10. Purchase Promotions.
Users can take advantage of promotions offered by USConnect or Operators. These promotions are offered from time to time and can be viewed online at a Program website or through an App. Promotions vary based on offers from manufacturers, vendors and other suppliers of food, beverage or other products, and can include:
- Buy-get-free promotions, such as "Buy 4, Get 1 Free" or "Buy 2 for $5.00",
- Promotions from manufacturers of products sold through Operators receiving Operator Services, and
- Other special promotions or pricing on food, beverage and other products.
Promotional offers do not have a cash value outside of the Program, and Users will not receive a cash refund for promotional offers that are not redeemed. Promotional offers cannot be transferred to other Accounts or Users.
11. Account Balance Inquiry.
A User can obtain an account balance online at a Program website, through an App and at Operator locations that have a self-service kiosk.
12. No Interest on Account Funds.
No interest or other account balance-based earnings will be paid to the User or credited by USConnect or by an Operator to the User's Account for balances maintained in an Account.
13. Account Activity and Account Statements.
Account information is available online at a Program website or through an App.
14. Refunds Fees.
A refund may be requested by a User at any time. Refund requests must be directed to USConnect customer service using email address set forth below. Should you be unable to request a refund by email, you may write to USConnect customer service at the US mail address set forth below. To the extent permitted by applicable state law and regulations, USConnect may assess and deduct from a refund a fee of $2.00 for issuing a refund, which means that, effectively, no refunds for amounts under $2.00 will be made. Refunds are made by USConnect by a check mailed to the User at its registered US mail address on the Account. Only the cash credit on the Account equal to or above $2.00 and up to the maximum permitted balance on the Account -- net of any applicable refund or other fees -- will be refunded (including net of any credit card or debit card fees assessed on the balance, which will also be deducted from the refund amount).
Here are the steps to request a refund:
- Ensure the Card is registered online or an account has been established using the App.
- Email info@usconnect.biz with the refund request. You must send the email request for the refund from the email account registered to the Account.
- Include your name, address, OAN number and details about the transaction. The OAN is available on the back of the Card or in the App.
- State the reason for the refund request.
USConnect may require the User to return a Card associated with the Account as a condition to processing a refund request.
Once a refund is processed, the Account will automatically become inactive and no longer subject to use by the User.
15. Inactive Account, Account Closure Fees.
An Account shall be considered “inactive” if the Account has had zero (no) purchases or deposits for any consecutive 12-month period and the Account balance is below $2.00. Completing a balance inquiry, logging into a Program website or onto an App, or getting an Account statement, does not make an Account active. An inactive account will be subject to closure by USConnect without further notice. Upon closure of an Account due to inactivity, to the extent permitted by applicable state law and regulations, no refund of the remaining Account balance will be made. Any Account closure and forfeiture of the remaining Account balance will be noted in your Account and may be reviewed online at a Program website or through an App. Once an Account has been closed due to inactivity, it cannot be restored to an active status.
16. Use of Accounts.
The User must present their Card or App at the time of transaction in order to access the User's Account. The Account is non-transferable and, except as provided below, the User is responsible for purchases made and debited to the User's balance. In some circumstances, additional identification may be required from any person attempting to access an Account to prevent unauthorized use.
Note: Many Operator locations are unattended and thus may lack personnel present to confirm identify.
17. Usage Limits.
There is no daily limit on the number of purchases that may be made and debited to an Account. A User cannot exceed the amount of funds in the Account at that time a transaction is attempted.
18. Locations.
Accounts may be used to purchase food, beverage and other products at locations of Operators receiving Operator Services.
19. Transfers Between Accounts.
Transfers are available between Accounts which have been owned by the same User since the inception of the Accounts, but only for cash or credit card balances. Transfers are not supported for reward or loyalty credits, promotional offers or funds added by USConnect or an Operator.
20. Lost or Stolen Cards.
The User should immediately report a lost, stolen or compromised Account, Card or App to info@usconnect.biz or by telephone by calling 800-211-5970.
21. Liability for Unauthorized Purchases.
If a Card or App is lost or stolen, the User is responsible for all unauthorized usage. Once the Card or App is reported as lost or stolen, the Card or App (and the associated Account) will be deactivated. Neither USConnect nor any Operator shall be responsible for unauthorized usage of an Account resulting from an action or inaction of a User. Users should regularly review account balances and transaction usage and/or account statements at a Program website or on the App.
22. Account Usage Problems.
If a purchase is attempted at an Operator location that receives Operator Services but that purchase is not completed, you should take the following steps to report the problem:
- Check the machine for error messages (most devices will display an error code if there is a problem with a transaction).
- Verify your Account balance by making sure you have sufficient funds on your Card or App. Purchases cannot be made for amounts that are greater than the available balance on the Account. If an Account is funded using a credit card, debit card or bank account, make sure sufficient time has lapsed from a funding you initiated from such source to ensure the funds are available on your Account.
- If using a Card, try swiping the Card again. If you have both a Card and an App, try using the App if a Card transaction fails.
- If the steps above do not resolve the issue, contact USConnect customer service using the telephone number provided on the vending machine, posted in the food service location or set forth below. If a local office manager or food services manager is at the location, also report the problem to them.
- Provide details about the transaction: When contacting customer service, be prepared to provide the date, time, location of the machine, and the item you attempted to purchase, and any error code(s) displayed on the machine.
23. Dispute (Error) Resolution.
A dispute (error) is a disagreement between a User and an Operator or USConnect about a transaction or if a User believes there has been an error in connection with the User's Account or the Program. Disputable charges include double billings, charges to the wrong account, inaccurate deposits and incorrect fees or charges. (Issues related to Account usage should be handled using the account usage problem procedures in Section 24, above.)
If a dispute (error) or an Account usage problem cannot be resolved, an online transaction dispute can be made. The User can call 800-211-5970, or write as soon as possible to:
- USConnect, LLC
- 324 S. Elm Street, Suite 400
- Greensboro, NC 27401
- Attention: Disputes
Dispute notifications must include:
- The User's name,
- OAN number,
- Description of the error or the transactions the User is unsure about
- An explanation of items believed to be in error or why more information is requested, and
- Dollar amount of the suspected error.
If a dispute notification is made orally, USConnect may require that the User send the complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days.
USConnect will inform the User of the results of its investigation within ten (10) business days following the date all of the information constituting a dispute notification is provided to USConnect and will work with the User to promptly correct any error. If USConnect requires more time to review and resolve a dispute, USConnect may request or take up to forty-five (45) days to investigate a User's dispute. In that case, USConnect will credit the User's Account within ten (10) business days for the amount the User claims is in error, so that the User will have the use of the money during the time it takes to complete the investigation.
If the User is asked by USConnect to put the User's complaint or question in writing and USConnect does not receive all of the information required in a dispute notification within ten (10) business days after such request, USConnect may not credit the User's account. If USConnect determines that there was no error, USConnect will send the User a written explanation within three (3) business days after the conclusion of its investigation and immediately debit the account in the amount of the credit. The User may ask for copies of the documents that Operator used in its investigation.
24. Returns.
Food, beverage and other products purchased and debited to an Account may be returned only at the location of an Operator where the purchase was made and only if such return is permitted by the applicable Operator’s return policies. Posted policies by the Operator may outline return rights at the location. If approved, the Account will be credited for the appropriate amount. No cash refunds or withdrawals may be made to the User.
25. Closing Account.
USConnect reserves the right to close a User's Account at any time and to refuse any request to establish a new account. If the User decides to open a new Account after a prior Account has been closed, the User will be subject to the Program agreement (such as this Agreement or successor agreement) as in effect at such time the new Account is opened.
26. Effective Date of Agreement.
These terms and conditions shall be in effect from the soonest of the date of the establishment of an Account, the physical receipt of a Card, the downloading of the App or the submission of an application or acceptance online of an agreement by the User (whichever occurs first) and until the applicable Account is closed.
27. Program Administration.
The Program, Cards, the App and Accounts are administered by USConnect, which is located at:
- USConnect, LLC
- 324 S. Elm Street, Suite 400
- Greensboro, NC 27401
28. Limitation of Liability of USConnect and the Operators.
If a Program Service is not provided in accordance with this Agreement, USConnect or the applicable Operator will be liable for the loss of your money up to the amount that is actually lost, but only if that loss results solely from the nonperformance of USConnect or that of the applicable Operator, or that of their respective employees, agents or contractors.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, neither USConnect nor any Operator will be liable for any loss or damage the User suffers in the following circumstances:
- If, through no fault of USConnect or an Operator, a User Card or App is not honored at a location of an Operator receiving Operator Services.
- Inability to access funds after USConnect restricts use of a Card or App after you report its loss, theft or unauthorized use.
- If, through no fault of USConnect or an Operator, the User does not have enough money in the Account to make the purchase.
- If the vending equipment terminal or other electronic device used to effect a transaction does not work properly.
- If circumstances beyond USConnect's control (such as fire, war, strikes and other labor troubles, civil unrest, epidemic, pandemic, flood, earthquake and other natural disasters, terrorism, government action, such as new laws and regulations, court order, injunction or other judicial action or legal process, or the telemetry or network used by USConnect, Operators or any of their respective contractors, and failures by their respective service providers) prevent the provision of Program Services, despite reasonable actions or precautions on the part of USConnect, Operators or such other third parties.
- Loss and damage resulting from errors by the User, including unintentional errors such as providing incorrect information preventing verification or completion of a transaction.
- Loss and damage resulting from illegal, fraudulent or other wrongful conduct by the User, including providing USConnect or an Operator with erroneous or inaccurate information or using the Program or any Program Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations or to perpetrate fraud on others.
- Loss and damage resulting from the User's breach or other nonperformance under the terms of Agreement, including failure to register properly and failure to properly use the communications systems USConnect and the applicable Operator has provided for the User'suse.
- Loss and damage resulting from restrictions imposed by laws and regulations or restrictions imposed by USConnect due to suspicious or possibly unauthorized activity involving the User's Card or App.

30. Representations and Warranties, Further Disclaimers.

Neither USConnect nor any Operator makes any other representation or warranty of any kind whatsoever in this Agreement, whether express or implied. 31. Modification of Agreement.
